Umicore recognized as Good Employer 2023 and awarded with the Highest Quality International Programme

We returned from this year's European Business Forum with as many as two awards. The first is the Social Responsibility Leader statuette, won for the second year in a row, in the Good Employer 2023 category. In addition, we received the title of winner of the Highest Quality International Programme and accepted the QI 2023 Gold Emblem in the Management System category. The award ceremony took place on 1 December this year in Krynica-Zdrój.


Good Employer 2023

The competition's judges assessed Umicore's approach to equal opportunities, the benefits package, health and safety conditions, as well as community relations in Nysa. They analysed the organisational culture, investments in employee development, monitoring of employees' needs and activities outside the organisation. Receiving the Good Employer 2023 title is the crowning achievement of our year-long efforts to promote working conditions. During the gala, the statuette was collected on behalf of the company by Wiwiana Ziółkowska, Nysa Site HR Lead at Umicore.

QI 2023 Golden Emblem in the Management System category

During the gala event, we also received the prestigious title of Winner of the Highest Quality International programme and the QI 2023 Golden Emblem in the Management System category. The chapter of the programme highly appreciated the implementation and operation of the quality management system in our company.

"At Umicore, we make every effort to ensure that all processes run smoothly and are based on a proven, well-functioning structure. This did not go unnoticed at the European Business Forum - our quality management system was distinguished against companies from all over the country and became an example of how to increase the efficiency of an organisation," - says Ewelina Fejdych, QMS Engineer, who received the award on behalf of Umicore Poland.

Awards in such prestigious competitions invariably fill us with great pride and are motivation for further work and development.
