Umicore has 2 production plants in Poland, in Nysa and Nowa Ruda. Both plants contribute to clean mobility in Europe and beyond. Since 2015 we produce automotive catalysts that reduce harmful emissions of vehicles in Nowa Ruda. In 2021, we launched a new plant in Nysa, which is the first plant in Europe for cathode materials, which are key components of lithium-ion batteries and determine their performance. Umicore's ambition is to be the preferred employer in the region.
In Nysa, we expect to employ 400 people. and we are recruiting to fill multiple positions. We are hiring production and warehouse operators, maintenance technicians (electrician, mechanic, automation), production and production engineers, EHS specialists and production planners.
