Summary of the 2nd edition of Employee Appreciation Month at Umicore Nowa Ruda
March is behind us, along with the 2nd edition of Employee Appreciation Month. We are delighted that it was once again warmly received by our team. Let’s take a look at how we celebrated it this year!
March 4th holds special significance for us as it marks Employee Appreciation Day, which we decided to celebrate throughout the entire month. It was a perfect opportunity to show our employees how much their work means to us. As a result, surprises were appearing at our facility throughout the whole month.
The employees were treated to appreciative animations displayed on our screens as part of the fun. What made them extraordinary was that they featured them themselves as the protagonists. In addition, every member of our big Umicore family received a voucher for a free movie relaxation session. After all, we understand the importance of work-life balance!
The culmination of Employee Appreciation Month was a special contest where employees themselves could express their gratitude towards their colleagues through voting in three categories:
- Safety Hero - advocate for workplace health and safety rules
- Problem Solver - a lover of challenges, for whom no barriers exist
- Best Friend - someone who never refuses to help when asked
