Umicore receives the Polonica Progressio Award from the Polish Ministry of Development and Technology.

On June 22, 2023, Umicore Poland was one of nine companies to receive the prestigious Polonia Progressio Award at a gala event held on the occasion of the Day of the Entrepreneur in Warsaw. All the companies contributed greatly to Poland's economic and social development. 

Umicore was awarded in the "Leader of Cooperation" category for its outstanding efforts to integrate small local companies into global value chains, international trade and cooperation in networks of large companies.

Driving economic growth in the region

Partnerships with local companies enable us to grow and achieve mutual success with a direct and positive impact on the communities in Nysa and the wider region. Together, we promote and implement the highest business, logistics and quality standards, as well as workplace safety and respect for the environment.
